In this property we have two different units on a rental basis. One Study for two people and an Apartment which can accommodate up to 8 people.

The house is located in the historic heart of L'Escala, the town's original fishermen's quarter, with its narrow winding streets, traditional whitewashed houses and charming little squares. Plaça de la Vila, Sant Pere Church and Platja de les Barques are just a few of the hidden gems you will discover as you wander through its streets.
L'Escala began to appear in written texts starting in the 16th century as a small fishing and cabotage port dependent on the neighboring town of Empúries. Its use as a port, however, is much more remote. Its name —from Latin, 'Scala'-, which was very common throughout the Mediterranean area, designates a port or pier, a common refuge for boats. The dependency of Empúries was invested during the 17th and 18th centuries for the benefit of L'Escala. In 1680, the residents of the “port of L'Escala in the town of Empúries” —who already formed a neighborhood of 80 inhabitants—managed to have their own church, and in 1766 L'Escala became a town and head of the municipality.
